3 refreshing smoothie popsicle recipes

And just like that, it’s summer! And it’s no joke people. No rain in sight for the next week and the temps till be in the high 90s here in Virginia. Time to chill out with a refreshing popsicle. But don’t waste your money stocking up at Costco or Kroger. It’s so easy to make your own with these 3 refreshing smoothie popsicle recipes. With the right equipment, you’ll be a hit with your kids or at your next party with these in hand!

How do we make popsicles at home?

Last year, we discovered the Zoku Quick Pop Maker, which made the process a breeze. Simply pour your smoothie of choice into the frozen mold, let set, and voila, you have a popsicle. We can typically get 3-4 made from the frozen mold before the maker needs to go back in the freezer. Perfect for a hot summer day!

Our favorite smoothie popsicle recipes

Popsicles are easily made from some of our most refreshing smoothie recipes. Over the last 2 years, we have created and perfected over 50 smoothie recipes, and we know which ones would work best as popsicles. One of our favorites is the zesty Pineapple Orange Ginger Pop, which has a bit of spice from the bold ginger flavor. Shockingly, even our toddler enjoyed this popsicle!

Next up for the Zoku this weekend is our Strawberry-Lime Watermelon Smoothie. This smoothie is super light and refreshing, and would make the perfect popsicle, or better yet, drink mixer. It would be perfect with a shot of vodka!

Finally, one that would be perfect for our son, is our Toddler Berry Green Smoothie. This one is refreshing, and healthy too. Made with milk, banana, berries and spinach, this smoothie is the perfect way to sneak dark leafy greens into your kids’ diet. Turn it in to a popsicle and you have a real winner!
